The Arab PlanningInstitute organized a training program on "Strategic framework for digitaldevelopment and knowledge management in light of the Vision 2030 of the Kingdomof Bahrain" in cooperation with the Ministry of Education during theperiod 15/10/2023-19/10/2023 in Manama.
The program aimed toclarify the foundations of successful digital transformation and knowledgemanagement, as well as discussing the most important recent trends in thedigital economy and the role of modern technologies as key drivers of economicand social development. In addition, the program presented some successfulinternational experiences of digital transformation and knowledge management atnational and institutional level. It also provided an opportunity to discussthe opportunities and challenges of digital transformation in the Kingdom ofBahrain. In this context, policies and programs supporting digital and knowledgetransformation in the Kingdom were reviewed and assessed, and the roles ofdigital technologies in mitigating the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in theKingdom of Bahrain were discussed.
