Research & Studies

Through its technical apparatus and in cooperation with experts and Arab, regionaland international organizations, the Arab Planning Institute conducts field studiesand researches on matters related to economic and social development in Arabcountries. The researches and studies carried out by API are characterized byfocusing on applied aspects based on examining the case studies and evaluatingthe experiences of various countries in development and developmental policies.This fosters API’s work in the areas of consultancy and institutional support.

  • Development Management issues: Through studying and evaluating the strategies supporting the development process in Arab countries and realizing sustained development.
  • Sectoral Development issues: Paying attention to studying and analyzing the performance of various economic, productive and services sectors in Arab countries, while focusing on high value-added sectors such as the agricultural, industrial and tourism sectors as well as focusing on economic diversification.
  • Social development issues: These include studying and analyzing facts about poverty, unemployment and wealth distribution justice in Arab countries, in addition to issues related to Arab labor markets, the role of women and youth in the national economy, and issues of education, health, and environment economies.
