Arab Planning Institute (API) helda Training Program, entitled “TrainingSkills and Management of the Training Process” upon arequest from SMEs Development Authority, Oman, during the period 17-21 July,2022.
The program general objective isto equip the trainees with special knowledge and skills to manage the trainingprocess and conduct the training activity, through reviewing basic elementsdirectly related to this job which are related to human development and human resourcedevelopment at the individual level and at the organizational level and takinginto account the adult learning strategies and objectives. Furthermore, itfocuses on identifying training methods used by effective trainers, as well asfiguring out how to prepare training and behavioral goals, as well as managingthe training sessions, successfully planning for them, and creating thetraining packages.
Along with highlighting the trainer's personality inmanaging training activities, a statement of the most important practicalskills and tools to manage training activities is provided, such as the skillof influencing trainees, effective communication, presentation of the trainingmaterials, and an explanation of the elements of the evaluation system fortraining programs and proof of how the return on training can be calculated.
