The Arab Planning Institute organized atraining program entitled "Creative leadership and institutionalinnovation in government administration" in cooperation with BahrainTraining Institute during the period 15/5/2022 -17/5/2022 in Manama.
The program aims to familiarize theparticipants with the concepts of leadership, creativity, innovation andinvention and their roles as a prerequisite for achieving sustainabledevelopment in theKingdom of Bahrain, and to equip them with different types and patterns ofcreative leadership and thinking and how to use them in generating creativeideas for developing and enhancing innovative products and services.
Inaddition to introducing the basic capabilities of creative leaders, clarifyingthe challenges to inspire creativity, and identifying negatives and positivessides.
The program alsointroduces the concepts of governmental creativity and institutional innovationand explains their importance in achieving sustainable development goals.Moreover, it explores the current status of innovation system in the Kingdom ofBahrain and illustrates how to use available resources effectively to achieveinstitutional innovation. Besides discussing the role, skills, and significanceof creative leadership in achieving governmental and institutional innovationand demonstrating the best international practices in this field. The programsought to equip the participants with leadership skills necessary for obtainingcreative and innovative solutions to problems, addressing challenges, andmaking smart decisions.
