API organized a Training Program in The Kingdom of Bahrain

The Arab Planning Institute (API) organized a training program on "Advanced Training Skills" for the benefit of the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain during the period of 13-17 March 2022.
The program aimed to provide participants with an understanding of the following:

- An overview of the most important knowledge and skills required for managing the training program and conducting training activities.  The program also covered the methods and techniques used by an effective trainer, how a training session is managed and planned, and the content of the training package.

- The importance of the trainer's personality, especially in relation to how it impacts others, in addition to demonstrating the most important practical skills and tools that will help the trainer successfully manage the training activity, such as skills associated with influencing trainees, the use of effective communication, and the presentation of training materials.

- An explanation on how training is evaluated and how to determine the return on training investment.

- The necessity of creative modern training methods for enhancing and accelerating training achievement, and for enabling the continuous improvement of training programs by introducing the pillars of these methods such as brain-based training, creativity in training, active training skills, and multi-method training. 

- Developing effective communication skills between the trainer and trainee, as well as enabling them to reaching their maximum capacity as a professional and creative trainer.  In addition to highlighting the concept of the creative trainer and training challenges that they might face.  The course also presents trainees' characteristics and how to manage them, as well as trainers' characteristics and the qualities of the ideal trainer.  The program also covered common training mistakes, as well as modern methods of evaluation and measurement of training results, and the ethical guidelines of the training profession.
