Arab Planning Institute in Kuwait held a training Program for the Ministry of Planning in the Republic of Iraq on " Policies and programs Supporting Knowledge Economy" in Baghdad during the period 22-26/9/2019.
The program aimed at introducing the participants to the concept of knowledge economy and its role in achieving sustainable development and the challenges facing the Arab countries in this field with a focus on Iraq. Also, the definition of development issues in general, and discuss the readiness of Iraq to transition to a knowledge economy. In addition to providing participants with policies and programs in support of the knowledge economy in accordance with the successful Arab and international experiences in the field of knowledge-based economy. The program focused on equipping participants with the skills needed to monitor mechanisms for institutional development from a knowledge economy perspective, particularly in Iraq
