The Arab Planning Institute (API) organized a Training Program on "Policies of Competitiveness Promotion" for the benefit of The Ministry of General Affairs and Governance.


The Arab Planning Institute (API) in Kuwait organized a training program in Rabat Hotel, Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco, on "Policies of Competitiveness Capacity Enhancement “for the benefit of the Ministry of General Affairs and Governance, during the period from 7/12 to 11/12/2015. The program aimed at introducing to trainees the meaning of competitiveness and how it is measured and how to develop indicators that are used to assess national competitiveness. The program covered a host of critical issues that have a direct bearing on national competitiveness promotion. The issues covered included macroeconomic stability and sustainability of economic growth, infrastructure, labor markets, human capital and investment as well as business environment. The program gave a special attention to the case of Morocco by analyzing data on trade and investment and the position of the country in international reports. The program also looked at how to benefit from world class experiences.
