The Arab Planning Institute (API)
in Kuwait organized a training program on "Skills of Labor Market Indicators Analysis for Policy Assessment"
for the
benefit of The National Council
for Training in Sudan, during the period from 15/ 3 to 19/ 3/2015.
The program aimed to
determine the nature of the relationship between the labor markets and different
aspects of economic and social development. The program also aimed to
identify concepts, components, and working mechanisms of the
labor market indicators, and to diagnose Arab labor markets, and to
highlight their characteristics, and how to implement classic and
active and labor market policies. It also aimed to present labor
market information systems and how to build models for the analysis of
labor indicators and how to set future outlook of the market. The program
also aimed to identify trends and requirements of labor markets
reforms and how to boost employment and productivity levels. Finally, to focus
on how to enhance the evaluation of labor market policies and how to
integrate these policies in the context of population policies skills
