The SMEs center at API participated in the 2015 SME’s Business Development Conference “Role of Regulators in promotion SME’s financing” which was conducted during 14-15 January 2015 by Arab Monetary Fund at Fairmont Nile City Hotel, Cairo. The day one, many topics were discussed such as: SMEs in MENA countries, the role of central banks in enhancing SMEs finance, dealing with credit risk related to SMEs. In day two, the conference discussed different topics such as the demand side and obstacles of growth, the role of loan guarantee organizations, innovative SMEs finance tools and services, and the role of regional and international financial organization in SMEs development. API was represented by Dr. Ihab Magableh, the director of the SMEs center.
