The Arab Planning Institution (API) hosted the monthly forum of Business and Professional Women Network in Kuwait that was conducted on Wednesday 5th of November 2014 (6:30 – 9:30 pm). The forum included different events and activities, and was attended by Dr. Badr Malallah – Director General of API and Mrs. Maha Albaghli – Head of Business and Professional Women Network, in addition to, many club members and interested guests and journalists. Dr. Malallah discussed the role of API in SMEs development and stressed the focus on the importance of women empowerment and their role in Social and economic development. Mrs. Albaghli presented the clubs goals, events and activities. Dr. Ihab Magableh – Director of SMEs Center- summarized the role of API in SMEs development and presented the future activities, training and consultation services of the SMEs Center. In addition, few SMEs success stories have been presented.
