The Arab Planning Institute participated as a strategic partner in the functions of the 20th GCC eGovernment and eServices conference, which was organized by Datamatix Group and was held in Dubai-United Arab Emirates, during the period 16-19 May 2014.
API has participated in the exhibition that was held in accordance with the conference, in order to spread the word about the latest functions of the institute and provide the participants with API’s latest publications.
The conference and through its various sessions tried to highlight the important role that eGovernmets can play in elevating the functions of the Government services in the region, the sessions also showed some of the best practices in this domain with international examples of success eGovernance stories such as the Saudi and Singaporian experience.
The Arab Planning Institute Deputy Director Dr. Hussein Al-Talafha delivered a short presentation about the institute’s various activities focusing on the newly established electronic information center and digital library as well as consulting activities and various other training related activities of the institute.
