Based on the common desire to strengthen the principle of partnership and cooperation in development areas of common interest that support development efforts in the State of Qatar, the Arab Planning Institute in Kuwait and Qatar Development Bank signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Sunday 22/10/2023. The Institute was represented by Dr. Abdullah Fahad Al-Shami - Director General of the Institute- while Qatar Development Bank was represented by His Excellency Mr. Abdulrahman Hisham Al-Suwaidi - CEO of the bank.
This MoU aims to strengthen ongoing and effective cooperation between the Institute and the Bank in the areas of capacity building for its employees through their participation in training programs and workshops, both those organized by the Institute at its headquarters in Kuwait, and those agreed to be implemented in cooperation between the Institute and the Bank, and to provide technical support and consultation, in particular with regard to the preparation of the development strategy for the SMEs sector, Investment Maps, assessment of the Bank's impact on development and other topics of common interest, as well as the preparation of research and studies, the organization of events, in addition to providing all forms of support in the field of entrepreneurship and SMEs and the dissemination of the culture of creativity and innovation among Qatari entrepreneurs, so that they can play
