The Arab PlanningInstitute organized a training program titled the "Basics of Training"in cooperation with the Bahrain Training Institute during the period of6/3/2022 -10/3/2022 in Manama.
The general aim of the program is to provide thetrainees with special knowledge and skills of managing the training process andconducting the training activity in the training room. This is done by reviewing the basic elementsdirectly related to the job, such as human development and human resourcesdevelopment, at the individual or organizational level, as well as taking intoaccount the adult learning strategies and objectives Furthermore, the coursefocuses on identifying the effective training methods as well as the preparationof training and behavioral goals, and on successfully managing the trainingsession, being able to plan effectively for it, and what the training package mustinclude. Additionally. the importance of the trainer's personality is stressedalong with a list of the most importantpractical skills and tools needed to manage the training activity which includethe ability to influence trainees, effective communication, the presentation ofthe training material, in addition to discussions related on how to evaluatetraining programs and calculate training returns.
